1. Power Generation Project

ENFI provides engineering design, project contracting, equipment development, system integration, technical development and service for coal-fired power station, waste heat power station, heavy oil power station and diesel power station etc.

Typical project: Power Station in Ramu Nickel-Cobalt Project in Papua New Guinea

Since there is no public power grid at the project site, diesel power station and heavy oil power station are arranged in the mine area and smelting area respectively in order to meet the power supply requirement of project.

2. Power substation and distribution project

ENFI has designed more than thirty 66kV and above voltage class general step-down substations for mining and smelting projects in Southeast Asia, Africa and China.

Typical project: Myanmar Tagaung Taung Nickel Project

It is the largest overseas investment project of China Nonferrous Metal Mining (Group) and also a typical project of Chinese enterprises for overseas laterite-nickel development.

According to China ENFI’s design, power will be obtained from Shweli hydraulic power station and 2-circuit 143kM overhead line connection will be adopted; the designed 220kV general step-down substation can guarantee the power demand of the entire enterprise. Meanwhile, ENFI has successfully developed the largest laterite smelting electric furnace in China. The electric furnace and electromechanical integration technology have their intellectual property rights and they are featured with complete sealing, low energy consumption, copper blocks cooling, high voltage operation and automatic control etc., reaching the international advanced level.
